 The 947
Bar & Grille, formerly the Silver
Lake Inn, is a family friendly,
locally owned, full service
restaurant, providing exceptional
service at an affordable price.
Why the name 947?
Jerry Del Gaudio Sr.'s very first racecar was
the 947; it was a '37 coupe. Jerry shared his
love of cars and racing with his sons, but
Anthony was the one who continued in the racing
legacy. The first street stock was the Bar 7,
not long after the start of the racing season
the car number was changed to the 947 after the
'37 Ford that Jerry once raced.
When a name was being chosen for the restaurant
it was a unanimous decision, in memory of Jerry
Del Gaudio, and a passion that he shared.
The 947 Bar and Grille
